Briefly describe your current role and the team you work with.
I’m a Customer Solutions Agent, and my team and I work daily to provide solutions to the most common issues or questions our customers may have.
Could you provide some insights into your career journey? How long have you been with PayPal?
I’ve been working for PayPal for almost a year, and it’s been a great journey so far. I’ve been listened to, guided and it feels like I’m part of something more than a workplace. The work ethics are great; the way my superiors give me space to speak out my concerns and how they take care of me when needed, makes me feel like part of a big family.
Could you outline the core responsibilities and daily tasks that define your role?
We’re the frontline of support. The way we receive customers and their problems define how they see us as a company most of the time. We receive calls with issues or questions to resolve, we’re the voice and face of how much we care.
What aspects of your role do you find particularly interesting and exciting?
It’s really about the experiences we create with the customers that make our work rewarding. I love how sometimes the little details can make someone else’s day or week. To have the power in your hands and your voice to mark someone in a positive way is what I find most exciting.
What skills and qualities are essential for someone to succeed in your role?
I sincerely think that it’s essential to imprint your personality into your work, the way that you are and how you behave yourself with people you care about reflects who you are. So, if you manage to impart the good things about you into your work, it will be as natural as breathing and that will make the job a lot easier, not only for you but everyone involved in your work line.

We’re really close and always try to help each other, every time a teammate has a question I try to help, and others help me when I have one. We’re stronger together and we always try to make the others smile.
