North America interships

    The US and Canada Summer Internship runs from May to September, typically lasting 12 weeks. This program introduces you to the fintech industry and PayPal's culture. You’ll work on impactful projects, hear from leaders, learn from product and tech teams, give back to the community, and network with peers and employees worldwide.

    Requirements

    • Available to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited university with plans to return to school for at least one quarter or semester post the internship season.
    • All applicants must hold the necessary work authorization.
    • Must be attending a US-based university for position in the US.
    • Must be attending a Canada-based university for positions in Canada.
    • Must be willing to relocate for the summer to the office location aligned with the position unless otherwise specified.

    Latin America internships

    The Mexico Internship lasts about 6 months, while the Brazil Internship is around 1 year. Our program offers professional and personal development through a strong curriculum. Interns work on real projects supporting PayPal’s business, connect with peers and leaders, and build a solid network.

    Mexico Requirements

    • Available to bachelor’s students currently enrolled in an accredited Mexico-based university and must have at least one quarter or semester remaining in their degree program post the internship season.
    • All applicants must hold the necessary work authorization.
    • Must be attending school part-time while interning part-time.
    • Must be able to work in the Mexico City office at least 3 days a week.
    • Must be able to commit to 6-month internship program duration.

    Brazil Requirements

    • Available to bachelor’s students currently enrolled in an accredited Brazil-based university and must have at least one quarter or semester remaining in their degree program post the internship season.
    • All applicants must hold the necessary work authorization.
    • Must be attending school part-time while interning for 30 hours per week.
    • Must be able to work in the San Paulo office at least 1 days a week.
    • Must be able to commit to 1-year internship program duration.

    Mexico & Brazil application information

    • The Mexico and Brazil internship program starts in January or July of each year, with a duration of 6 months in Mexico and a duration of 1 year in Brazil.
    • The Mexico and Brazil recruitment season begins 5 months prior to the month of entry.
