Internships

Our internship program provides students with the opportunity for professional and personal development through a robust curriculum. Our interns work on meaningful projects that directly support PayPal’s business and customer needs, while building a strong network and community with their peers and global leadership team.

For PayPal Global Intern Day, a number of our interns from around the world, shared the advice they would give to their pre-intern selves. Every intern has a significant impact on PayPal and our wider communities. Our interns remind us of the importance of continuous growth, adaptability and embracing change. Remember, the journey is just as important as the destination.

Recent graduates

We are excited to introduce PayPal’s Global Recent Graduate Learning Experience & Certification Program! In alignment with our commitment to Build the Next Generation and Learn Every Day, PayPal University Programs and Enterprise Learning & Development have partnered to develop this comprehensive program tailored exclusively for recent grads. Our Recent Graduate Learning Experience and Certification program is a unique program crafted to equip Recent Grads at PayPal with the essential skills and resources necessary to excel in their careers. This is a 2-year program focused on foundational knowledge & skills via Recommended Learning modules.

Career Academy

The PayPal Career Academy is a virtual program focusing on the early career development of First Generation students and providing them with both skill set development and soft skills that will kick start their career in technology. This program is currently active in the U.S. and India. The Career Academy accepts applications through November for both regions. The program runs March through August each year. Upon completion of the Career Academy, students will have gained firsthand industry coaching and participated in real time collaboration with PayPal employees. They will have the opportunity to apply and participate in an early interview day at PayPal.

Tech skills and business acumen are critical, but soft skills can be equally if not more important to a successful career. The Career Academy is a six-month virtual program designed for First Generation college students (an individual whose parent(s) or guardian(s), did not complete a baccalaureate degree) to develop their skills and prepare for a successful career in technology.

Required Qualifications:

First Generation college students in their Sophomore year on track to complete a bachelor's degree in the tech or non-tech space.
Must be able to commit one to two hours per month for the length of the six-month program.
Must be passionate about continuous learning and excited to take your student life to the next level.
Must have received a high school diploma.
Must be at least 18 years or older to apply.
